Ramblings

I stopped to get the kids a pizza from Hungry Howies today on the way home from work. You can get a large pepperoni for less than $7.00 if you pick it up in person. It wouldn't be ready for 10 minutes so I decided to walk over to Publix. On the way, I noticed a very large truck... an expensive looking Dodge Ram, turbo diesel, parked near the sidewalk. It was running but no one was inside. I assumed as I passed by that the owner had run into the restaurant it was parked in front of and would be back momentarily. Why else would someone leave their truck running?

About 10 minutes later, on my way back from Publix, I walked past the truck again. It was still running and there was still no one in it. It kind of pissed me off because this truck was very big. I mean the hood was a tall as I am. No shit. It was huge. What a waste of gas.

The other day while on my walk, I noticed a woman in the near distance checking her mailbox. She was standing there with a plastic bag (the kind you get at grocery stores) stuffing the contents of her mailbox into it. As I passed her I noticed the mailbox was crammed FULL of mail. I thought what a great idea it was to just throw your junk mail away right there... it's kind of like deleting your junk email right there in your inbox!

I notice vehicles in traffic that are clustered together. Sometimes I'll pull up to a red light and all the vehicles around me will be white. Sometimes all red. Sometimes I'm driving in traffic and notice I'm surrounded by all trucks. It happens all the time. What does it mean? Does anyone else notice this?

My trashcan is between my mailbox and the house. I usually stop there on my way in...

Hate big trucks. They really shouldn't be allowed as transportation vehicles - just work vehicles.
