Jason's cast came off yesterday. Now he has to wear heel inserts in his shoes for an unspecified amount of time. He hates the inserts because his shoes are tight and they cause his toes to be crammed into the front of his shoe. I told him I'd buy him some new shoes (needs them anyway), but Walmart or Payless are not good enough for him. I imagine he'll need to get a job or else he'll be walking around in socks soon.
He cannot play any sports for another month, so basically I'm giving up on this soccer season!
We've all gotten so used to seeing Jason in a cast that he kind of looks abnormal without one. Yesterday when I asked Jessica if she noticed anything different about him, she asked if he'd had a hair cut!
